건양대학교 의료신소재학과 이규배 교수님 지도 대학(원)생 연구팀이 ‘2025 WISET 여대학원생 공학연구팀제 지원사업’ 일반과정에 선정되었습니다! ‘밤과 물푸레나무 부산물 추출물을 활용한 황산화·보습 효과 연구 및 기능성 화장품 원료 개발’이라는 주제로 연구를 진행하며, 바이오소재 전환을 통한 친환경 화장품 원료 개발에 기여하게 됩니다. 이번 연구는 여대학원생이 책임자로 참여하고 학부생들이 함께 협업하는 구조로, 실질적인 연구 경험과 문제 해결 역량을 키울 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것으로 기대됩니다. 지역 산업에 기여하고 지속 가능한 소재 활용 모델을 제시하는 뜻깊은 도전입니다.

A student research team under the guidance of Professor Kyubae Lee from the Department of Biomedical Materials Engineering at Konyang University has been selected for the 2025 WISET Engineering Research Team Program (General Track)! The team will conduct research on the topic: “Development of Functional Cosmetic Ingredients with Antioxidant and Moisturizing Effects Using By-products of Chestnut and Ash Trees.” The project aims to develop eco-friendly cosmetic ingredients by converting agricultural by-products into high-value biomaterials. This research is structured with a female graduate student as the team leader, working in collaboration with undergraduate students. It is expected to provide valuable hands-on research experience and foster problem-solving skills. The project also represents a meaningful challenge in proposing a sustainable materials utilization model while contributing to regional industry development.
